shittes app ever. if you wanna charge 99$ for year make this app useful. can't download second place even when I have subscription. why I even should download state if I have subscription? I just wanna take a look on map and see places. a lot bags and lags. first app was perfect. just fix bags and allow look at map without downloading when we have subscription
This app used to be excellent. Now it's practically unusable. Most of the time it's just a blank screen, and when it does work, you're hit with ads and paywalls everywhere. The developers took an amazing community-built database and turned it into a broken cash grab. Basic functionality now feels locked behind a $100/year subscription. A once fantastic app has been completely ruined.
good place to get some overnight parking
The app is a scam. It pops up saying things like your Google translate is out of date and you have to update it or won't work anymore. It takes you to Google Play to a third party app It's trying to trick you to install. This is very dirty and unprofessional. The app should be removed from the Google store.
soon as you open the app and click on a spot a huge ad pops up blocking the entire screen you can't even X off of it now. you can think Bob Wells for that. former van dweller community leader slash hypocrite
I have just downloaded the app and opted for the free version. I first watched their introduction on Youtube and had no problems navigating the app. I will upgrade to the unlimited version shortly.
Maps are terrible! No contrast and can't see text roads or features.
What the hell happened here?! 🙄 i used this app befor the pandemic and this was my number 1 recomendation to every traveler i met...it was awesome!!! but now looks like someone took this app and butchered it in unimaginable ways... I'm 100% sure that the person in charge now has nothing to do with overlanding.... RIP ioverlander
Can't even use this trash without an account now. This app needs to just be shutdown at this point. It offers none of the benefits of the original, free community driven camping locations offline, no account needed.
