App is the same as X. This one is 'parental advisory' and X is 18. I guess it depends on what side of the political spectrum you're on. good on X trying to turn kids away

For an app that gets you into the cursed lands that is social media, it's flawless. Social media itself is the problem, but this app is bulletproof.

Started out decent, but starting to show that it isn't that good anymore. Constant app crashes or features that stop working, such as search (attributed to the developers so called "vibe coding"). Tons of bots. Moderation team constantly mislabels and flags the wrong things (it's AI btw). Certain features that should be a given such as images in DMs are still not available. Forced age verification in certain areas. Way to drop the ball, honestly.

Unusable It's no longer possible to write posts on the mobile android app. The keyboard appears over the text window so it's impossible to see what you've written or edit or correct as you can't see the text you're writing or editing. For an app that depends entirely on user engagement this is terminal.

Unable to find age verification service, even though I'm in new york. So I'm forced to experience Bluesky's censorship, in which they'll mark posts they don't like as adult, mark entire accounts as adult, hide all this by default, etc. So much ai vibe coding too, site goes down every few weeks. Terrible. Use a browser, and probably another hosting provider on the atproto network. These guys can just delete your account with no warning
