In 2026, trip advisor looks like an app made by an elementary school child in 10 mins using AI. Google maps has all the reviews with much better AI for quality control. It is just a matter of time before trip advisor is sunsetted, best not to waste any more time or storage space.

I decided to download this app to see it's features. My niece and I booked our first tour for our vacation. We both received a welcome gift of $30 on our accounts. The only amount we had to pay was $I each. I was so impressed with them that I recommended it to my family. I also learned you get discounts and credits the more that you use it. In the past I would use tripadvisor for ratings on things to do but I would go through their website. The app is wonderful and I recommend it.

Unlike the web version, the app only allows you to see lists of paid tours. The "all sightseeings" button leads to "buy buy buy" page again and again. In addition, account deactivation process is complicated by dark patterns. Overall, I found this app deceiving and useless
