Description

Forum is a dedicated space for the conversations that matter most to you, built for the communities you already love on Facebook Groups and those you have yet to discover.

Facebook is great for keeping up with friends, watching videos, and staying connected. Forum is where you go deeper in groups. It's a space designed around real discussions, shared interests, and the people who’ve been there.

Dedicated space for your groups
Sign in with your Facebook account and your groups, profile and activity carry over. You have the option to post with a nickname. Your groups still exist on Facebook and anything you share on Forum will be visible in your groups on Facebook. This is just a space built around them.

Stay in the loop on conversations you care about
Your feed is built around conversations from groups. See what real people are saying, not just what’s trending, and easily jump back in where you left off.

Ask and get answers from real people
Looking for opinions, advice or recommendations? Ask pulls together responses from across groups, so you can get answers right away from people who've been there and join the conversation.

Built for the people who run groups
Admins still have access to all their tools on Facebook, and now they also have an admin AI assistant on Forum to help manage their groups, moderate content, and keep their communities healthy — all while maintaining control.

Dive into topics that interest you
Forum brings people together around the things they care about, from niche hobbies to local recommendations to support groups. Share your take, join the conversation and connect with your communities.

Like most Meta apps, it's a mixed bag. I prefer this app over the Facebook app because I see less pointless garbage. It's nice not being bombarded by reels from every side for once. But the comment entry box is bizarrely cramped, and for some idiotic reason I can't save photos from this app so I constantly have to screenshot stuff like I'm using Dumpstergram. Still better than Facebook though.

As far as I can tell, this app has two priorities for Meta and a distant third one. It's 100% manipulation, even by "Facebook standards." 1. Ply you with endless group recommendations you already ignore on FB. User data from groups is more profitable, or it lags on the main FB feed. 2. Get you chatting with their AI to "Ask questions and get answers that span all the groups." 3. Wayyy down the list. Actually showing you the groups you already belong to and want to see. Uninstalled.

despite the fact that the app claims to offer notifications for all posts made in specific groups it fails to deliver on this. 1 star. useless

I'm not sure I really get the use case for this app. I understand that it's supposed to focus just on groups, but I don't see anything significant about it that isn't already present or possible to do in the Facebook app. It's like they just carved out a chunk of the Facebook app, repackaged it, and so it just does some of what the Facebook app does, but not everything in one place.

good start, now add more backgrounds for text posts and pay group creators for constantly creating and curating content

There are in-app sounds that have no means to turn them off. I cannot use the app more than a few minutes because of the sound and hepatic feedback.

Excellent for admin and moderator management and also let's you focus directly on your group(s) activities. the tools are innovative and intuitive. you'll like it if you share and commune with groups. •Commune: Intimate Connection (Verb: /kəˈmjuːn/)As a verb, to "commune" means to experience a deep, intimate, or spiritual connection with something. You will most often see this used in literary or reflective contexts, such as taking a quiet walk to "commune with nature," or "communing" with one

I appreciate the convenience of having all my Facebook groups consolidated within a single application.
